[history]
Vandals torched two military vehicles and defaced a recruiting center in San Jose on Monday, spray-painting an ominous warning across the building: ``Pre-emptive Attack.''
San Jose fire officials said the targeted vehicle was a minivan wrapped in military slogans and patriotic advertisements. Flames also spread to a second government car parked next to it.

This isn't a wise move. Recruiting centers are staffed by real soldiers pulled out of tanks and rifle ranges at reenlistment, not civil servents playing dress up. Most of them are itching to get back to their real jobs, a follow up attack by the vandals would be a very, very bad decision.

Or a very, very good decision depending on how you look at it.

San Jose Mercury?
San Francisco's back yard?
After visiting/recruiting High School students?
I'm not surprised someone in the area felt like vandalizing the recruiting center. I am surprised they actually did it. Well, maybe not. This kind of thing is done by amateurs, and they're probably being visited by the FBI right now. I wouldn't mind seeing them given an all expense paid tour of the US Correctional Facility at Leavenworth...

Thanx for the ping Linda. Furious isn't a strong enough term for how this makes me feel. I'd better stop now before I say something that would get me banned.
