BTW...Many years ago, back when I was but a fledgling FReeper still finding my way in this cold, cruel World, I chanced upon Matt Drudge's website thanks to the urgings of Rush Limbaugh, my Mentor and Confidante. For many moons, I clicked into Matt's webpage and feasted upon the Truth that I had been denied for, lo, these many years. I used to check out all the links, too...simply devoured the offerings from William F. Buckley, Jr. and Thomas Sowell and Cal Thomas and other brilliant LibertyLovin' Illuminatis!! Then, when I had found the article I wished to discuss with my FRiends, I would copy/paste the text and use Matt Drudge's link to my favorite place, FreeRepublic.com!! What a wonderful life I led back then.
But Utopia is a sullen, chaste, unforgiving, and somewhat-frigid mistress, and eventually, Mr. Drudge--in his Infinite Wisdom, no doubt--chose to inexplicably DE-Link FreeRepublic.com from his website!! I was crushed. Was it something I had said?! Was it something some TROLL Lefty had said in order to Divide and Conquer the Conservative Movement?! I lay emotionless and prone for what seemed like months, but was only a coupla hours!!
Then, I rallied...I didn't need Matt Drudge...I didn't need Trixie...all I needed was the Truth and, apparently, Matt Drudge no longer cared about the Truth since he had become one of The Effete Elite High and Mighty!! "Tell him to stick that fedora where the Sun don't shine," I hollered defiantly!!
