This was on Fox News...Rita Crosby said the LEOs were surprised when the bloodhounds took off for quite a ways tracing the scent toward or into the Beltway....That of course would mean the shooter was on foot, and either meeting up with someone or returning to his parked vehicle.
Or his motorcycle.
Why is everyone thinking that the vehicle is anywhere within the visual range of the victim's location? The vehicle could be parked out of the line of sight of the victim's witnesses and he just walks a short way to it. Like parked "around the corner." That way no one ids the vehicle.
