How many times have you heard of a tactic like this being used in America? I know of NONE. This is a typical mulsim extremist tactic. This tactic is demonstrated on teh Al Qaeda training tapes they have. What more do you need? Why do people like you ignore the obvious? Someone in this very thread was commenting about how he helped one time bring a sniper in Louisiana to justice. The idea of using a gun to kill someone long range then fleeing the scene isn't something terribly groundbreaking. What's more "obvious" is that this person is a sociopath. The only piece of evidence we have points AWAY from it being a Muslim. Would a Muslim use a pagan tarot card (or if he's clueless guy just off the boat, know what one is?). I can recall no case in U.S. history where this type of serial sniping occurred. Furthermore, terrorist muslims are worse than sociopaths - they do it with religious fervor - believing they will go to the big whorehouse int ehsky. To the contrary, I haven't seen many, if any "nuke Mecca" types of comment on these hundreds-of-posts-long threads. I hardly think speculation about whether this is an isolated whack-job or an organized terror attack from a declared enemy is unreasonable.

The AQ cell they busted in Oregon was training on rifles. What are the odds there are other cells doing similar training that could be applied to missions like the D.C. area shootings? Why has an appeal to people to dime out relatives and friends they think are acting wierd not panned out? Could it be the shooters do not move in what would be considered normal social circles nor among people who consider it their duty to help stop the shootings?

These are among many other good reasons to raise the odds that this is an AQ op. It isn't the Amish nor is it Martians. The top two possibilities are 1) A nut-job or two (but putting two nut-jobs nutty enough to do this together LOWERS those odds geometrically), or 2) Terrorists, probably Islamists, where, notably, working in small teams is SOP.
