The only piece of evidence we have points AWAY from it being a Muslim. Would a Muslim use a pagan tarot card (or if he's clueless guy just off the boat, know what one is?).

these salami jihadi vermin would use your mother's undies if they thought it would help destroy the 'great satan'.
btw, concensus of opinion here seems to think tarot might just have originated in the ME.

Would he proclaim "I AM GOD"? No. Of course not.

again, all koran exhortations are off in the battle with us infidels.

Let's try to appeal to the better angels of our nature instead of finding an excuse to burn mosques down.

kumbaya, baby ...

(remember your touching thoughts when the bastards gun down your wife)

Tomkat I'll be the first in line to pull the switch on this bastard. Do not condescendingly act like I'm being soft and suggest my wife is next. Pardon me for being actually curious who the real killer is, (or even killers), without assuming this is part of a madcap terrorist plot. You saw what terrorists like to do this weekend. They like bombs. They like making a statement by killing a bunch of people at once. If this had happened two years ago everyone hear would be decrying American culture for creating someone with such a sniper mindset. What's happened internationally has done nothing to change the fact that, like most serial killings, this is just another home grown nut.

I believe it was Egypt. Shortly after 9/11 there were tarot card readers who thought that the tower card was somehow a sign when the World Trade Center collapsed in flames. Maybe it's their way to use pictures to convey a message, like they did with their evil calendars

I actually have the history on this, but I think the Tarot Card is so...dumb...a clue...we want hard forensic evidence, not something some kid may have left because he saw it in "Apocalypse Now". If you really want the history of the Tarot (which is not exclusive to ME), let me know, I'll dig it up and post it for you, but it's dull as all hell.

P.S. It is, however, fun to hear the media debate on the merits of "tar-o" or "tar-ete". :-)
