Shots ARE being called higher. I'd like to see someone other than Moose take over this investigation. Pronto. He's moot (too much alliteration to continue... :p).
To: Kip Lange
And when I say take over, I mean: Give us some answers :p
To: areafiftyone
The are supposed to release a sketch pretty soon to the public but the way things are going this might take weeks.Well you've got to get it approved by the PC police. It could take a while.

Michael's Stores, Inc. (3 shootings) and Exxon/Mobil (2 shootings) corporate headquarters in Irving, Texas. I don't know if it's relevant. Someone said Home Depot and Michael's are owned by parent company Saul Centers.
What might be relevant if is credit-card purchases (via clearing house) are the triggers, if these victims are pre-meditated and not random.
And, yeah, Irving has scads of terrorist ties.

Someone should also be keeping an eye on the stock market (someone smarter than me *grin*) to see what's going on with shorts and buys...

Would this cause a hardship to some group, Moose? Well, it is certainly causing a hardship for all the American's in the D.C. area!
Moose has a problem, he hasn't read his job description!

Oh yea the PC police may not like to release a picture of a slighty overdone on one side (olive skinned) person.

Has anybody seen this Tarot card to know what it says? Does anyone wonder why?
To: twigs
"And possibly the shooter could be lurking here."
I guess it's possible, but considering the amount of time I've spent on FR since the shootings started on threads with up to 1800 posts I don't know how he'd have the time to plan all his attacks and carry them out and be here and read all we're saying.
I can't even get the laundry done and get dinner going on time.
To: Eroteme
It's the content that concerns me.It's the lack of content that concerns me. They're hiding something.

Did you hear the press trying to nail Moose down; saying are you saying you don't have any profile, description, video, pictures of a suspect?
Well sir,...
Montgomery County just went to a 800 MHz digital system with a special modulation system. They think no one can monitor them. Listen to Channel 9 for bulletins...

I'll bet you a sixpack it's not ME Terrorists. They wouldn't leave the Tarot card with "I am God" scrawled upon it. Of course, if you want to believe it's ME Terrorists and that the government is covering it up, I suppose you could believe that the card was never actually dropped by the shooter. I go for the simpler view.
The Tarot card is a red herring meant to create confusion and conceal the killers true identies IMHO. The words "...I am God" are likewise meant to confuse and distract from the killers true indentity.
Do you think that the rambling, poor pennmanship, spelling errors, and grammatical mistakes found in the Anthrax letters are indicative of the scientist that weaponized the Anthrax found inside? Of course not. The point is to create confusion and a media circus.

Home Depot (symbol: HD) is not owned by Saul Centers. It is a publically traded company. Here is the ownership:
Ownership
· Insider and 5%+ Owners: 4%
· Over the last 6 months:
· 4 insider buys; 21.0K shares
· Institutional: 62% (64% of float)
(3,065 institutions)
· Net Inst. Buying: 40.2M
Micheals Stores (symbol MIKE) is also publically traded, although the Wyly family has a small stake (about 6% I think):
Insider and 5%+ Owners: 7%
· Over the last 6 months:
· 11 insider sells; 814.0K shares
(14.4% of insider shares)
· Institutional: 90% (97% of float)
(365 institutions)
I'm telling you this just because I do not believe we should spend time trying to connect ownership of these two stores. I think it is just plain commerce centers and gas stations that the sniper has focused on.
To: aristeides
I'm not sure how much sense it makes to blame Moose. I suspect the shots are being called at a much higher level than his. That would be the committee that is in charge of the investigation.

Heard this email on the radio this morning, I edited it a little bit, enjoy:
Peaceniks and the Sniper: A Great E-Mail
After listening to reports on the sniper, I can't help but wonder where the peace-lovers are. After being so vocal about the war on Iraq, I can't believe we haven't heard from them yet. So, I guess it's up to me to speak for the whole group. I'll break it down to 3 key points:
1. Why are we being so aggressive? I think we should wait and get world support before acting against this guy. I mean, we don't KNOW that he's going to attack again ...... do we? We shouldn't act until we know an attack is "imminent."
2. I heard that the police set up road blocks last night and are looking for a cream colored van. I hope they're not planning to pull over every cream colored van and search it ....... that would be profiling! I mean, is it fair to all of the innocent people out there driving cream colored vans to be pulled over and searched? It offends me just to think of the injustice!
3. Lastly, when we do find the sniper, I don't think we should be using force to stop him. I believe we should just send inspectors over to his house and make sure he doesn't have any bullets for his gun. Because THEN we would be safe right? INSPECTIONS, NOT FORCE! INSPECTIONS, NOT FORCE!
To: dinasour
It also concerns me as well. The Pentagon would not be involved for a home-grown sniper, IMHO.

Would love to know the designer of the deck it comes from. That could be a big clue and we don't know what else it says.
Am also guessing they may be trying to track it's source, do some forensics on it etc..
