Even if it isn't a cell at all and is instead a domestic perp- or more than one...

...you can bet other folks are going to get ideas from this. This will likely be entered into the 'manual of terrorism techniques.' The responses of the police forces will also be studied carefully.

Right. This could be live practice. Setting the stage for a move into DC. using trucks -- very common white vans -- to get close to the target and to provide cover for the shooter and perhaps a getaway vehicle. How soon before thhe start up in DC, targeting congressmen heading to/from work, etc.?
