CNN Headline News is reporting that a woman has been shot near a Home Depot in Falls Church, VA, and that authorities are investigating whether this is another sniper attack.

Yeah, and how did this "expert" marksman just happen to miss his victim and shoot the window of the first Micheals? Ironic? Maybe. I don't really know....one thing I do know this maddness has to be stopped...

Hypothesis: Shooter has multiple accomplices. One drives a decoy vehicle with no connection to the shooting. A second car serves as a "dump" zone within a block or so of the shooting, where the weapon is dumped. The shooter's initial goal is to get to the "dump car" (a motorcyle would be very effecive for this). The gun unloaded, the shooter then exits the scene via foot or via a third vehicle. He might even have a disguise for his person that would appear to give him reason for being present in the area--EMS, etc.

This scenario serves to give multiple cutouts to further give the shooter a means to escape.

Why Michael's? Why does he keep coming back to one particular business?

For what is it worth, my two cents...I think this terrorist (domestic or AQ...it is terrorism) just responds to the news that is reported. Why the shooting tonight? Maybe because they picked up the guy in MD...and the perp doesn't want somebody else taking his 'glory.' Why near a Michaels? Well if the talking heads mention/question why Michaels, and the perp thinks they are watching/guarding Michaels...then it becomes more of glory hit to shoot again near a Michaels.
