CNN Headline News is reporting that a woman has been shot near a Home Depot in Falls Church, VA, and that authorities are investigating whether this is another sniper attack.

Caller to WRC-TV 4 says he heard shot. Was outside Barnes & Noble, heard shot from "east" where Home Depot is from B&N.

Shh! Take a breath. The tools used to do these deeds are very important. Considering the utility of the weapon or weapons used is key to figuring out the dynamics surrounding the events we are breaking down.

This kind of thread is good. Frankly, the LEO's working this case don't have as handy a tool to use as this one we are using now.

You are right about the poor victims. But, the goal is to solve the puzzle. Not likely to happen here. From the outside. But it's a good exercise. More brain power here than at CNN.

Eye witness on local wusa channel 9..Heard one shot fired as he was heading to the Home Depot..Saw woman lying on ground...Panic, could not register from which direction the shot came.

Had heard others who had seen a white van parked in the garage prior to the shot.

In the Seven Corners area it could have easily been a Hispanic immigrant walking home from work, or even a Southeast Asian. So I'm not placing too much hope into this lead yet...

Check out the first few response on this thread from four days ago. There are some references to Falls Church. At the time, Falls Church was nowhere near the shootings. I just find it peculiar that Falls Church is the site of another shooting just four days later.

Seven Corners is a plaza that allows access from either direction on 50; plus it's night time - it is concievable not to have a direction, per se.
