CNN Headline News is reporting that a woman has been shot near a Home Depot in Falls Church, VA, and that authorities are investigating whether this is another sniper attack.

My guess as to time of shooing is about 9:50, maybe as late as 9:55. It was on the news by 9:57.

Maybe they take turns. One in the truck and one in the astrovan so as to confuse witnesses. Yesterday it was a white guy with sandy hair and tonight an olive skinned guy. Looks like two people who take turns shooting people.

I was at that Home Depot just yesterday. I'm not sure if anyone has posted this yet but there is a Micheal's craft store in that same shopping plaza on the other side of HD.

WMAL reporting the shooting was at 9:30. Anyone in the area half-hour window and call tip-line to report they were in the area even if they don't think they say anything.

Well that's pretty scary. I have thought this whole time the sniper lives in your beltway. you would have to look at many posts to find out why. It's a long story but one that the police in your town have been unwilling to listen to.

If they are cornered and blow themselves up it could be the best of all endings to this crime spree.

Except for any cops and bystanders that get blown up by the same explosion.

Home Depot garage is nearly ing the center of that photo. I don't think there's decent tree cover anywhere near the garage. If the shooter is constrained by skill, or whatever, to 100 yards, then it might be possible that he fired from Koons Ford's lot, which would be across Rt. 50 and just West of what the photo shows. Otherwise, the shopping center directly across the street, which, by the way has a Chinese place that makes great Peking Duck, also has a delivery alley. Shooter could easily have fired into the garage from that location, then scooted out East or West on Rt. 50, or travelled through the neighborhood on Patrick Henry Dr. to Columbia Pike. Either way, easy trip to Rt. 7.
