To the Italians: stop defending Columbus. Let the Spanish and English defend the killing of Indians. Let the Hispanics who demonstrate explain the power of Spain used to wipe out Indians who ate and killed each other.

Indians killed each other. Sometimes they ate what they killed.
Europeans killed each other. Rarely ate what they killed.
Seems the Europeans were a tad wasteful as compared to the Indians.
Might makes right. If my country is mightier than your country, too bad for you. If your country is mightier than my country too bad for me. This state of affairs is as old as humanity, possibly older.

To the Italians: stop defending Columbus.Columbus Day has been twisted into an "Italian-American holiday" when it's supposed to be a day for all Americans to honor one important historical figure. That's why "Italian-Americans" are defensive in the face of this criticism.
