To: antivenom; Fred Mertz
Having fired weapons in urban environments I will suggest that to try and track a shot from sound is gonna be extreamly tough. The noise will reflect off structures to the point one is "positive" it came from that way when in fact..........yada yada yada.

exactly, Squantos.

further, a single shot is ridiculously hard to pinpoint, sometimes even in the open, influenced by the direction you're facing when the report goes off, further compounded by the confusion caused by the ballistic crack of the bullet as well as your position relative to the trajectory and/or the shooter.

add echoing and background noise and even getting a general direction of the shot is a daunting task.
