"Talent Pulls Ahead of Carnahan"

That is great news! I pray for the man! I pray that we can take back the Senate and keep the House. Judges would be first on my list as well.

...... but we must hit back hard on social security in a number of races.

Saw a new Carnahan ad tonight. It flat out lied on Talent's stand on SS. Made it sound like he wanted to take every penny out and put it "at risk" in the stock market. Usual scare the seniors tactic.

I agree - and I'm wondering if we should start a FAX campaign now to Trent Lott to tell him that we want a STRONG takeover - AND NO POWER SHARING! The dems are really a bunch of wimps, if you don't back down when they try to intimidate.

I'll second that:

We could control the Senate on November 6 2002-- what should we do first? My vote-- Judicial Nominees...

I second that. Judicial nominees are the most important.

I thought the nominations were important early in the Bush administration – pre Jeffords. Apparently, the elected Republicans had other priorities. Have their priorities changed? Yes – their interested in Iraq now.

He does have a knack for getting national races right at the last minute (who knows how close he is earlier), but that's about it.

I was flamed yesterday for suggesting that Zogby “horses up” his early polls in an effort to “push” his election agenda, and then runs honest polls later to maintain his reputation. Flames notwithstanding, I still believe this.

voter fraud is rampant in MO... even the polls show that the dead vote... about 10% of them...

there was a unofficial web-poll done by one of the local ABC stations here in Columbia, MO. The question was who would you vote for, for Senate? It was Talent - 69%, Carnahan - 41% ---totalling 110%!!!

The Dems are just trying to calibrate their fraud machine...they need to know how many votes to dig up.

They are doing the same thing against John Sununu here in New Hampshire. And the sponsor is, surprise...surprise...a Federal Employees Union!

Not that this was scientific by any means, but it was interesting nonetheless.

Especially since this adds up to 110%. Must be all of those dead people who vote in St. Louis making up the extra votes.

Hmmm! I'll have to pay more attention if I see the ad again and see who sponsered it.

Well since Orrin Hatch isn't going to be serving in Iraq, he can be holding hearings filling all those judicial vacancies.

The Repblicans controlled the Senate for a whopping 3 months....Rome was not built in a day.

I'm not talking about the constructiom of a city --- I'm talking about scheduling hearings. How long can that take?
