(2002) Media Ignore Kansas Interracial Mass Murder

The journalistic powers that be have no idea the harm they're doing to the cause they espouse by silencing the reportage of this case.

Most people are willing to concede their intellectual or political adversaries' sincerity -- right up to the point at which the adversary starts to conceal the facts. There is no conceivable justification for concealing a fact that bears on some issue of note, such as hate-crimes legislation. It reeks of moral cowardice. It throws suspicion on every act and argument of the concealer.

If we're fortunate, events like Wichita, and the embarrassed silence of the media about them, will be the death of left-wing racism.

I'm sorry that CNSNEWS is sorry that this case isn't getting national exposure. There's a similar case in Eastern Kansas where a guy murdered half a dozen women and stuffed their bodies into oil drums, but CNSNEWS hasn't heard about that, either. Of course, since that was white on white crime I doubt that they would be interested anyway.

The only thing that really matters is that these two are on trial for their lives. Given the evidence I have no doubt at all that they will be convicted and that they will be executed and that's all that really interest me.

The 'idea' of 'hate crimes' is to inflame one group who can thereby feed racial hatered and fan flames of bigotry..

The left loves to inflame blacks feelings of injustice and 'so called' righteous anger toward white people, white religon, white govt., white culture,...and thereby create a parallel culture of rebellion and violence...based on bigotry and the rationalization of more of the same...(but on the alleged perpetrators-aka whitey)

The left needs to keep black people down..and the poverty pimps of the likes of Jackson and Sharpton play this tune..and keep black people dancing to it...its what keeps vast sums of money flowing from a fearfull white culture...its the new masters whip on the tax payin slaves..
The category 'hate crimes' is just one mo' tool of the new wannabe slave masters..

Once in a while you'd think they would sacrafice one of their own, if just for just appearance' sake..

Perhaps they realize how ludicrous they really are and no longer bother with the sham...?

Of the nearly 8,000 hate crimes reported in 1995, almost 3,000 of them were motivated by bias against African Americans. Other typical victims are Jews, homosexuals, Muslims, and, increasingly, Asian Americans," according to the website.apparently white people are not allowed to be victims of hate crimes

Today:
Andrew Schreiber, the victim of a carjacking and robbery, continues his testimony. Also expected to testify are family members of the victims, to help identify property found inside an apartment where police arrested Reginald Carr.

If I may jump in here........

I believe rosebud thinks this is a story of national interest not because it is so on its own, but rather when compared to how the media reports these stories in general.

Was the Matthew Shepherd case a "story of national interest?" Probably not. Yet, the media, in its frenzy to capitalize on its propagandizing of PC sensibilities deemed it to be so, thus we were treated to wall-to-wall coverage and at least one made-for-TV movie on the case.

I hesitate to speak for rosebud, but I think he/she means that for the media to be consistent, they would treat this case with at least the same urgency.
