"you were right..."Can anyone tell me if those roads are the same? Does my perp live on the same road? Does that make any sense to what happened tonight? Ballsy in front of a cop, what's next? On your own street so you can walk to the scene?

Is the sniper behind that barrier now? Did he walk to do the shooting? Walk back home? This is his latest(nighttime) shooting isn't it?

Can you post the map? Could he have hoped on that road below 66 E.? What is that? Arlington Blvd.?

Apparently, it's not an easy 16 miles, either. It looks like it's a half-hour drive through city streets. So your address doesn't seem to be really any closer than any other address that's within 30 minutes by car.
Personally, I've been thinking somewhere closer to the scenes of the first 4 or 5 crimes. But I suppose the perp could be from anywhere around the DC area.

Drat. No, took the page down already. But you can recreate it easily enough. I found an address for Seven Corners Center of 6201 Arlington Blvd, Falls Church, VA 22044. Then used mapquest to get directions from there to your addy. It came out 16 miles and about 27 minutes of driving. You could consult a real map to see if there's a shortcut, of course.
Sorry couldn't be of more help...

That kind of scared me too. I was just grabbing a "typical American scene", and I use Target too much.
BTW, I am really rewriting my novel fast, the plot is extremely resonent with what is happening in MD and VA. I have been writing it all while in San Diego from my memory of the area between Norfolk and DC.
