Thanks, tomkat. It just doesn't make sense to me that surveillance videotape as commonly used at gas stations would capture the shooter's vehicle if the distance he's shooting is 150+ yards as has been reported.

One of the problems with video surveillance is that in many cases, they run for a week, and tape over the next week etc.. Hope everyone starts to "save" their tapes every week.

I'm sure the cops are pulling surveillance tapes for every business in the area, wouldn't necessarily have to be the gas station's camera that (hopefully) caught the shooter on video.
