The latest sketch I saw at yahoo news was a big white box truck...so, it could be a trucker.
Most people are saying 99% white, but it could be any color, anyone who is a trucker.
I'd like to know the color of the victims, were they all white, all Latino, all black?

Whoever it is I don't believe they are employed. They (he/she/they) may have lost their job on the preceding Friday, or maybe on Wednesday during the day. They resume a "normal" schedule on weekends.

He took last weekend, "off," and thus far, seems to have done so this weekend. May have a part-time work schedule, or may even just drive a spouse/ domestic partner to work and pick him/her up at the end of their shift. The killer really cut loose on the day his competition for headlines was hurricane Lillie...

Hey, I just posted this elsewhere but perhaps...
the sniper works a 12 hour weekend shift somewhere. Thus, no "jobs" on weekend.
Security guard? Hospital worker?

I think he works, but has a great deal of freedom in his job. Could be a delivery guy, based on the truck, or in sales of some sort. Also could be in construction or in repair, since he goes such great distances. THAT should narrow it down a bit. /speculationadnauseum

Not to restate the obvious, but a well-trained group of professional assassins, paid by a foreign government or private organization, can keep any schedule they want. They can use any weapons they want. They can go in relative safety anywhere they want in the United States. I think we should look at the forest, not the trees.

Our sniper appears to have taken last Saturday and Sunday off, and I can't help but wonder why. Perhaps he will repeat that pattern again this weekend.
Also, he appears to like to do his dinging in daylight hours for the most part, more or less early in the day. What's up with that? If it were I, I'd much prefer to work at night, when it's dark, for cover and concealment purposes.

Some sort of delivery man...he's famliar with his route...doesn't arouse suspicion...makes deliveries to stores, and possibly schools, maybe even service stations...vending machines???
