***Wake Up Black/White America:The Democrat Slave Masters Only Want Your Vote, Not You***
Stardate: 0210.12

Posted on 10/12/2002 7:12:02 AM PDT by The Wizard

As I watched another example of the way democrats follow the rules, (You MUST obey the rules, we'll do anything we want) it became even more clear to me that the only thing the democrat party stands for is itself.

Democrats hate America, hate freedom, hate choices that they don't control, have turned the Blacks into slaves again trying to get their masters to maybe help them this year, after using them to get elected for 40 years and leaving them with the same problems they had from the beginning, (the democrats voted against the civil rights act) Are in bed with others who have their hands out, (Dock workers doing manual labor for $100,000/year) and willing to wreck the economy for their own personal gains....

A party that believes in corrupting election laws, and when caught, blames everyone else.....even when there are only democrats involved.....

A party that is so in debt to the teachers union that it won't allow school choice for the blacks who want it, and don't have to because the blacks don't realize that they are being used the same way they were by the plantation owners of old.....

A party that uses the art of dumbing down of the nation's schools to prevent any well educated kids from growing up with enough on the ball to see what they are doing to those public school kids who used to get great educations in public school 40 years ago.....

A democrat party that allows people with no morals to represent them in the highest offices in the land, and actully has a former member of the KKK as a senator in congress.....

I feel so sorry for my good friends who have been tricked into believing they agree with the beast and the dasashole through masterful lies that are spread by those with no conscience, to trap the unfortunate and the well intentioned......

I have friends and relatives who think hildebeast actually cares about them, yet years from now they will see all to clearly that democrats only care about themselves, and once they get that vote, you can go to hell unless what you want makes you more dependent on them

And I blame the old GOP who didn't rise to better standards, without the threat of Perot, that made these poor souls think the democrats would really help them

The democrats only do things that enslave others to their power base, from which they rob the country for themselves.

IMHO

the democrats want to take the money you work for and give it to others so they can buy votes and keep them hooked on handouts they give them

Bump for truth.

Colin Powell being soft in his position as Secretary of State (I would submit that those calling him a RINO are not as correct as they'd like to think) on certain policy issues is simply an outgrowth of the job -- Secretary of State has to meet with rather odious dictators on a daily basis and tell everybody everything they want to hear. Who would you rather have, Colin, or Albrich the Troll Bridge, or Warren "I died a few years ago, but they keep rolling me to different countries" Christopher? :-)

But the debate over Powell being RINO is for another time; the point here is that an accomplished statesman and a positive icon for young black males is being skewered by a celebrity who spent HIS life being an Uncle Tom and now seems to wish to somehow ease personal inner demons by attacking a great man in a petty, vindictive, divisive, and STUPID attack.

Kip the opinion that Powell is a RINO is not the writer of the article, it's MINE. A positive icon for blacks would be Alan Keyes. Actually Keyes is an good model for anybody reguardless of race. Powell keeps his head down always, in order to please the maximum amount of people. I reserved judgement on this until lately. He probably achieved rank in the service(mostly) that way as well. I don't TRUST Colin Powell an inch. He acts just like a RINO acts. You do realize that a RINO is really a democrat don't you, but not only democrat, a democrat with no balls. Colin is not even worth black democrats slimeing him. No threat really.

Colin Powell is a Republican in the John McCain model. He'll turn on ya in a minute, no friend of republicans. Since just being a democrat makes you either an enabler or an outright traitor to the Republic. Powell is an accident waiting to happen to republicans. A political mine, a booby trap, a potential Jeffords...

Keyes, on the otherhand is somebody to be respected. A little too religious for me, but I trust him. And he can stand toe to toe with anyone,.....anyone, and present logical conclusions. I did'nt vote for him for important reasons but, if he would've had a chance, I would have. The republicans have some very good people like Ann Colter but "the people" want oligarchy evidently.. Since you like Powell you're probably one of them...

"Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are inevitably ruined." -Patrick Henry

"We still find the greedy hand of government thrusting itself into every corner and crevice of industry, and grasping at the spoil of the multitude. Invention is continually exercised to furnish new pretenses for revenue and taxation. It watches prosperity as its prey and permits none to escape without a tribute." -- Thomas Paine

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. Already they have raised up a money aristoracy that has set the government at defiance." -Thomas Jefferson

hosepipe -- I know your reservations about Powell. I'm just not of the opinion that he's the same caliber person as a McCain. I *am* with you on Alan Keyes being a more positive role model in that he can take a more controversial stand, but the fact that he's not in public office MEANS he can take a more controversial stand -- and it's also why he doesn't win Presidential nominations. Now, I'm not arguing the fairness of this, I'm just saying, it's all a side argument to the main point: Belafonte is a hateful race-baiter attacking someone who is far more accomplished than him; said person (Powell) is *trying* to do good (whether you agree with him on policy or not, I think you can agree that he's not "evil" or anything) on a GLOBAL level...

The republicans have some very good people like Ann Colter but "the people" want oligarchy evidently.. Since you like Powell you're probably one of them...

First, "Coulter", and she could never win a political office now after her let's-beat-all-the-muslims rant. :-) Beware, falling into the pit of dangerous ideology at the cost of realistic compromises (RETAKING THE SENATE!) is the fool's gold of liberals, not conservatives...

Powell has been off admin. message, back on admin message, off again, on again, but always ends up ON message and...watch what people DO, not what they say. As Sec. of Sate he will NECESSARILY look like a RINO. I am not arguing he is not too moderate for my, or your taste; but RINO suggests a wilful masking of one's political agenda in order to covertly advance the RAT agenda -- at the end of the day, Colin Powell realizes the importance of presenting a united front from the administration (this is what Belafonte refers to as his "house slave" tendency). Powell would not tip the Senate to the Dems, Powell would not push campaign finance reform on me, Powell is NOT John McCain or Jim Jeffords.

I resent your suggestion that I believe in an "oligarchy". I truly do. I disagree with Colin Powell on certain issues but I think he has a right to dissent on those issues and it's HEALTHY to debate some things, especially in the foreign policy arena, as long as you end up siding with your Commander in Chief when push comes to shove. *You're* the one sounding like a liberal DemonRAT -- intolerant of dissent, of any other opinion -- that's the RAT line, not ours, man, *not* ours.

Maybe I emot'ed out on that one....sorry...(you'll live)

"*You're* the one sounding like a liberal DemonRAT -- intolerant of dissent, of any other opinion -- that's the RAT line, not ours, man, *not* ours"
Colin Powell is'nt dissent'ing... he's "man pleasing"... he a man please'er... a wuss.... unless hes actually a stealth demo... a ringer.... hard to tell... hes very good at NOT being straight forward. "candid".... Hes a scary unopened box thats "ticking"..... does the fact the RINOS "love" him speak anything to you... as to being tolerant of dissent, you must've missed my point, most of the Republican Party, at least many are RINOS already, dissent is what I WANT...

========================================================
It's not easy to take the democrat out of the party BUT it is damned near impossible to take the democrat out of the democrat. All you end up with is a RINO{Republican in NAME only}- Himself

Now you're sounding like Harry Belafonte. ;-) Colin Powell is a diplomat. Do you know any diplomat who ISN'T a "man-pleaser"? (I don't like typing that phrase for some reason, heh)

Hes a scary unopened box thats "ticking"

Oh, c'mon. :p He's a guy who's wife won't let him run for higher office for the moment. :-) A ticking time bomb? Hardly.

does the fact the RINOS "love" him speak anything to you

Yeah, that he's far too liberal for my taste to be President. ;-)

dissent is what I WANT

Obviously a lot of us are looking to discourage RINOs running for Congress, but this thread started as a debate on Harry Belafonte's remarks regarding Colin Powell. The fact that a bunch of conservatives who, I will wager, agree on any gazillion number of issues, yet get irked by Colin Powell (either direction, pro-Powell, anti-Powell, whatever) -- we need THIS kind of pointless dissention before the elections? If you want to use this as a platform to point out some RINOs in Congressional races that people should avoid, go for it, but other than that, this is *unproductive* dissention ("dysntery among the ranks", to borrow a line from TV :P).

Reality suggests that the argument we started on is yet another example of the Hollywood elite out of touch with mainstream America...I'd rather discuss capitalizing on that in key races, if we're going to get all tangential here.

Uh, ignore that. :-) Just woke up and I'm mixing my threads up. Point still stands that we're going tangential (don't you think McLame is a bigger threat to party unit than Colin Powell?)

Yes/No....Birds of a feather, differnt birds, vultures none the less.
pssst, (motioning)... (we're talking to the choir here) ...nes pas...
Sorry, I used to be a conservative, until the party moved so far to the left, I'm barely hanging on to the feathers on the end, yelling beware the Socialists among us with every flap of the wing. Would become a Constitution Party member but pissing up a rope does have it's consequences. Leaves stains on the ol' brown shirt.
