I think the greatest lawman ever was Frank Hamer. I think he was in over 100 gunfights, was shot 18 times and left for dead three times. He was also the one who got Bonnie and Clyde. I would love to have him working on this case.

Skeeter Skelton thought the greatest lawman of all was Jeff Davis Milton a Texas Ranger who was the Son of the Confederate Governor of Florida. I would love to have him on the case too.

This guy Moose is an obvious affirmative action chief. He may be competent but doesn't appear to be the man to get things done.

Those examples of legendary Law Enforcement men sound interesting, I'd have to read up on them!

Chief Moose makes me uncomfortable when he's on camera, like I'm cringing that he's going to personally lose it.

His tirade against the media was really bad, my husband & I watched it LIVE and looked at each other, like "whaaaaa? - he's got to be kidding!?"

It's not that I think it's wrong for him to be mad or upset, and furious they shot a kid at school... but don't show it like that. Thats more appropriate for the school principal, parent etc, not the man leading the charge to catch this monster!

It's almost clintonesque (but I do realize the difference in that he's not faking his emotions).

People want to have confidence in their Leaders including Law Enforcement BUT with him as the spokesperson it's difficult.

His speech impediment doesn't help, BUT it's what he says and how he says it thats the worst!

It doesn't matter in this case. It's random murder of strangers. There is no motive that connects him to any of his victims. It's also unlikely (but not for certain!)that he is connected to them in any way. Most murders are crimes of passion, and easily solved. This is totally different. It will either be solved by a informer or by accident. Being clever or smart will have nothing to do with it.
