Talking at work about him the other day. Whatever happened to him? Did he retire or is he a pitching coach somewhere. The man had talent. It was amazing to just watch him throw his glove on after the pitch

But seriously, the way Abbott fielded the ball, transferring his glove, was really amazing. Do you remember the Jimmy Stewart movie from the 50's about a major league baseball pitcher who was shot in a hunting accident, and had to play basically with one leg?
