I was thinking of a program that would periodically load up the latest posts page, to get the most recent thread ID. It would then fetch the page for each thread with that ID or lower, read the keywords, pick an ad, and post it to the thread.

Just turn it on, and let it go until the Freepathon is over. All we would have to do is come up with new ads to feed into it. Completely hands off.
