It is a different way of living here in D.C., pumping your own gas is weird, you look all around (not that it is going to do you any good).

Avoid gas stations that have wooded areas near by. Our shooter likes to take cover in near by stand of tress. Carry a camera, if you hear a shot start taking pictures in the direction of the shot, you might get lucky and be a hero. If you didn't live in DC, I'd also advise putting a nice rifle in your car.
