I know - I've wanted to change my screen name but don't want the hassle of a "new" screen name. I was holding a locally grown S.C. peach when I signed up and it just seemed good enough. But as a female you really might not want to be called George. Noticed another Freeper had on her home page (which is where people go to check when you signed up) - that she put "the freeper previously known as ..." and I believe the date stayed the same as her previous sign-up name, because it's a change, not new. Good luck "George". (s/b Georgie!)

"Whatever this situation turns out to be, we can't forget that AQ has trained for just these sort of individual attacks, including attacks on golf courses, of all the unlikely places."
Excellent point, you don't have to have tanks rolling through your town to be at war. AQ has trained for this type of thing, and this person(s) definately have the qualities of a trained sniper/marksman.

I'll definitely check into that. I'll start looking for a new name!

If you go to bed you may miss something....how long have you been awake?
To: Got a right to Life? . . Huh?
The shooting at the Bowie school...they found where he was laying (he plastered the grass down) and also found the spent casing and note not too far away...that just BLEW the shooting from the van theory...for at least ONE shooting site.

Will make the change tomorrow; glad it's okay with folks. Will also change the title to include the date or day. I probably will open a new graphics page each day because I'm afraid it would get "bumped" down after a day or so. Anyone have other ideas or if I'm wrong, please let me know. Aim to please.

Yea, I'm sure they're "friends". But I tell you what, if I just snapped, and started running around shooting people, I don't think my friends would let me crash at their pad anymore..... They might if they held the same ideology as you. Or thought that you were making a point that they agreed with.

The other things they have trained for involve the ritual execution of hostages. If they pulled that now, it give Bush massive support for Iraq. That would be counter productive. Those will start after we begin an overt campaign in Iraq.

I am not sure about other serial killers MO, but the way these killings are happening so often, it seems that they must have some military or police training, not so much with guns, as a lot of people have guns from an early age, but moving around so easily and carefree, not even been seen one is nine outings.
If it is terrorists, then this could go on for a while, or they may just switch states.
What they are doing is keeping out of big cities where you have plenty of survalance cameras.

Actually that can be fairly routine for homicide investigations, especially higher profile cases.

It would be easy for the Feds; all they would have to do is follow the title transfer trail. But, I'm sure they have thought of that. Um, right? Too bad they can't slip a tracking device under the bumpers of all the vans they pull over.
Then when the next shooting takes place, see if one of the vans is nearby and track that sucker!
I know..... 'invasion of privacy'.
