It certainly could be that his name is Michael and I keep it in the possibility file... but

I'm inclined to think that these little Mall sites are more or less duplicate layouts...with typical green spaces and multiple exits and that they were all visited previous to the hits.

I think that the assumption that the guy was in a vehicle rather than on foot was the "big miss" in the early part of the investigation.
