The "shotgun" referenced was from an earlier incident in which a van driver in the same county as the 8 PM shooting reported his window exploding. It was investigated and concluded to be birdshot from an unknown source. PW Cty spokesperson did not comment on the nature of the gas station victim's wound and did not speculate as to the type of firearm used.
