So far only Fox has reported a shotgun and they can't confirm....MSNBC has said nothing about a shotgun.

Are you sure, I turned over to Ashley Braindead(only live coverage) and either in her summaries or the news conference they mentioned a shotgun. In fact I'm pretty sure it was the news conference, because that's where I heard about the earlier shooting out of the car window and that, in the officer's words, "The experts believe it to be shot from a shotgun."
