And, just what if this were true? We are the people. How should we react in a case where an incident like this repeats itself throughout several states(nationaly)? Thank the Lord for the 2nd ammendment and the Founding Fathers who understood the basic human right to self defense. We have the right to defend ourselves and our loved ones. And, incorporated with the support of the local authorities, we could put to an end such incidents by forceably removing the threat from our localities. Pray it may never come to this, but we must prepare ourselves.

The latest from CNN says that witnesses heard a single shot and no one saw fleeing suspects. Seems that there is a lot of noise in the news channels right now with every media outlet saying something different.

I agree, it looks like a sleeper cell..and with the timing of the latest tape (which are morale boosters and congratulatory) and the pickups of the NY and Oregon cells, it fits better. I can't see a motive except "kill americans".

Thanks for the grabs -- not really much to see, but that tells you something, I guess.

If the shooter was inside a vehicle, at 'gas-station' range, there wouldn't be too much difference between a .223 Remington/5.56mm NATO (rifle) and a shotgun, assuming the poor man was hit in the head. Only an expert could make any conclusions about the wound damage.

.223 and shotgun would sound similar to most people, and the overall effect on the victim would(could) be similar.

The baseball game is over and FOX 5 is on the air. They are set up in the shopping center parking lot north of I-66, the new(ish) big one with the big movie theatre.
