Oprah has done what the networks denied President Bush. She has reached the American public with the case for war on Iraq, now rather than later. West Coasters..catch Oprah, your jaw will drop!

Just checked and I have time to even TAPE the show. Considering what I've read on this thread sounds like one to keep, I'm ready to roll.
Thanks again for the heads up!!

I took a look at the
message board too and its running about 10 to 1 flaming Oprah for not presenting a balanaced show.
What balance do you need? Show a relative of Saddam's on there that is living the high life?
One of the posts said that people should look for "the facts" and then brought up that old flea biten nugget that somehow we've caused 500k Iraqi children to die.
I'll catch the episode next week when it is rerun. Hopefully Oprah will stress the awfulness of women's lives over there. That tends to go over better with her audience.

They ran out of time and the audience still had lots of questions for the guests. She said that the would continue and it would be shown on Oxygen tonight.
These guys, between the one who could make the case for war intellectually, coupled with the guy who was arrested and tortured for making a joke about Saddam really gave it the one two punch. Whether listening with your head or your heart, the answer is the same...let's roll!

The Iraqi defector that Oprah interviewed described one aspect of Saddam's depravity regarding women that struck the audience especially hard. He explained that Saddam has defined, government positions with IDs, etc., for RAPISTS. That fact hit everyone right between the eyes!

I saw most of it. I could hardly believe it.
Iraq is a done deal now. Millions of women just changed their minds.
I think the turning point was the talk of professional rapists on Saddam's payroll.
I almost expected Oprah to tell the audience to reach under their seats, she had bought each of them an AR-15.

Might not be a bad time for the WH to approach her highness for another appearance by The Man.

Thanks for message board link. Everyone, go over and leave a positive message thanking Oprah for bravely presenting the TRUTH......

LOL! I can just see it now with her waiter clad staff bringing out designer AR-15s with "Oprah's Gun Club" emblazened on the side.
Hey, Oprah's Gun Club sounds like a good idea. A new sub compact for the ladies every month.

Thanks for the heads-up! I never watch Oprah anymore, and since here in Chicago she repeats at 11:05 pm, I'll definitely tune this one in. I've been mad at her for years, but she may have won me back with this. (I wonder if hell froze over today.)
To: alisasny
"This show was pure propoganda", "this show was so biased", "If you are going to do a show like this at least offer both sides" say the lefties.
Yeah, let's make sure to include how Saddam loves dogs and kids. Just like Hitler.
