There was a "GENOCIDE" convention in 1948. Read this article for more. Includes what happened in Rwanda under Clinton.

It's all relative. Compared to Rather or Jennings even Rosie O'Donnell or Donnie and Marie would be intellectual, honest,...

I happen to catch Letterman last night and Senator McLame was a guest. He bashed Bush. Letterman make the point of CBS NBC ABC NOT carrying the Bush speech and McLame said well they wanted high ratings!

The McSlime then said Welll uhhhhh I mean I think the President is saving the forced announcement (address) for when it needs to be.

Letterman jibbed about the Saddam vs. Bush one on one showdown joke and what McSlime thought.McSlime said well with a sick grin I can replace the President if he loses the direct showdown with Saddam.<P.

Thanks, will try and navigate her site and register. Her message board should be more like FR's. Clicking on each message is tedious.

This was one of Letterman's jokes in the monologue.I wondered if someone in the Letterman circle reads FR, as it was an odd news agency and not on the mainstream news.

Letterman make the point of CBS NBC ABC NOT carrying the Bush speech and McLame said well they wanted high ratings!

Well, the joke's on the networks then, they would have had much high ratings if they'd carried it, because here in Chicago, the local NBC affiliate did carry the speech, and according to the president of the local NBC, they had the highest carryover ratings into their next program that they've had in many years, if ever.

He himself decided to carry the speech here, he said, because Chicago has a large percentage of viewers who don't have cable, something like 32% of the population, so he felt it was their duty to carry the speech.
