Thurmond to speak, then McCain.

Teddy looks like a distant relation to Jabba the Hutt...Actually, he is Jabba the Gut. He has lots of friends--
Boxer -- Jabba the Slut
Feinstein -- Jabba the Mutt
Shumer -- Jabba the Nut
and of course, Franks -- Jab up the Butt

Frankly, I hope they give Senator Byrd another week to opine on the subject. Let him go on and on!

Sorry, It's Sen. Helms, not Thurmond, on War vote.
To: mystery-ak
If we win the senate back, the GOP senators should not even acknowledge the existence of the Democrats. Make 'em beg to be heard and then ignore them.
No more Trent Lott as majority leader...PLEASE!!
To: Miss Marple
McCain is getting mad. Helms should have the floor and Kerry is interrupting. Helms asks to sit while speaking. Says dems are trying to "freeze the ball."

You and me both. I'm not nearly as worried about Iraq and terrorists as I am about the threat of decrepit old Democrats desperate to retain their power. They'll happily let people go to the grave if it means they can stay in power. By the millions, if need be...
At least terrorists kill swiftly... rats steal you blind, destroy your families, take your freedom, take away your ability to defend yourself and your home, dumb down society, enslave people, and accuse everyone of racism when in truth they're the most hateful people there are... they'll do whatever possible to destroy the economy just to stay in power... they assassinate the characters of honest people to protect the guilty; they'll lie, cheat and steal to win, they'll prostitute themselves and their offices to the UN, letting the UN and international opinion form our foreign policy, but claim the constitution is their guide...
They scare the daylights out of me.

TED KENNEDY SHOULD HAVE BEEN KICKED OUT ON HIS ITSY BITSY BLACK AND BLUE _________IE LONG, LONG AGO--AND WITHOUT SCUBA GEAR.
DASHOLE IS A PARTICULAR DISGRACE--PARTLY BECAUSE OF HOW IGNORANT HE IS OF HIS OWN HUMILIATING PERSONNA.

Amen!I think Hatch is senile, and should have been put out to pasture a long time ago.
To: GenXFreedomFighter
But just watch. Tim Johnson will be back in the senate. Dashole will be there too after his re-election. And YOUR safety & prosperity will be lessened. And all that will be done is bitch'in. We need some states to leave this union. Our constitution is meaningless. The nation is a shame. ( This issue wasn't so much about the judge. It was about hurting the feelings & bushwacking another elite senator. The change in party control only means nicer offices for the winner. When GW won do you think that the budget would get smaller & less money for the NEA & less farm subsidies? Or did the "Two-Party Cartel" pull another one over on ya?)

Funniest one today...hats off
To: LisaFab
Do you think they should drag this out till the election? The longer they talk on Capitol Hill about Iraq and homeland security, the less time the RATS and the news media have to talk about the shape of the economy, which ain't very good. Politically, I hope the Senate delays its vote for days. Every day that goes by is one better day for us.

I think there can be no doubt, these damnable democrat senators are fighting the president in order to weaken him. They do so for purely political advantage, knowing it places our nation, in fact the entire western world, in imminent danger from Saddam Hussein, cooperating terrorists, and osama binLaden.
