why would he just now leave a tarot card!....I would think that he would have been leaving cards all along, taunting the LE.
That's my thought, too. Why now, after 6 dead?
Because he's toying with the police and the media. Numerous TV and radio shows had "expert" profilers on, over the weekend, and a common theme was that they felt the killings gave the killer a feeling that he is God. That he gets a power rush from deciding who gets to live and who dies. I'm not sure that this is true for this particular killer. I think that tarot card and the message are just another case of him giving the media what they want.
When it was reported that authorities thought he was moving out of the area, he drove down to Fredricksburg (1.5 hour away) to make it look like he was moving south. When it was announced that they were concerned that about the schools, he made his next attack against school children. At the same time, they report that he might have a feeling of being God, and this card and message turn up. I don't think its a message or a signature but just another piece of a perverse game he's playing with everyone.

I'm only up to reading post 97 so forgive me if this has been mentioned. It's possible Monday's shooting of the 13 year old was not the only one outside of a car. On "Dateline" last night it was mentioned that powder burns were found on a wall where the shooter might have been aiming from in the Thurs. night DC shooting (the elderly man).

I don't want to sound tin foil or like I'm not open to ideas other than terrorism... but has anyone who has been researching the tarot card angle come across the tower card? It shows a crumbling tower on fire. I haven't been able to keep up with all of the threads so I don't know if it has been mentioned.

WTOP radio reports the police are searching the area near Rose Valley Elementary School. There were reports of a man carrying a long black bag. He was wearing a blue jacket and a blue ball cap. There were also reports of surveyors in the area.

Makes sense. So, we need to get the media to talk about a particular place. A lot! And have the LE there waiting....

Did anyone think about the fact that this guy could be a trained pro and he is giving everyone here the illusion he is some psycho redneck. I mean it's pretty obvious he didn't want to kill the last two victims or he would have and he left the clues there to make our authorities think he is probably a redneck or some uneducated idiot and he's probably a iraqi trained sniper playing games with our stupid profiling idiots.

Anythings possible I guess...
Actually, some things are impossible and that is why we need to analyze everything we hear on the news. Last year when the shark frenzy was rampant, I monitored one of our local news babes saying a man in Australia had been bitten by a 150 shark and she said it twice. I fired off an email and got a reply from her the next day which apologized to me individually but they never corrected the story. In this era of "breaking news" they will get it wrong and keep on rollin'.

No one has mentioned a tower card showing a burning tower. That's interesting. I have a feeling this guy will leave another signature at the next shooting and we'll know more with each signature item left behind. No one would or should think you sound tin foil for mentioning that tarot cards have a burning tower in the deck.

It is so incredible that any community would hire a police chief with that kind of record. It doesn't surprise me that Portland would put up with him until he expressed his anti-Gay attitudes, though.

The Indian man's family was on Fox News Channel last night - the Indian man had two U.S. flags posted in the back of his cab. If the shooter were a terrorist, he would have had a reason to shoot.

"What about parking the truck in the alley, and getting on top of one of the buildings?"I guess it could be possible but grocery store roofs are pretty high, 25-30 feet?
I just don't see it happening. Afterall, he had just killed the lawnmower victim about 45 minutes earlier from all indications he was in a vehicle and the Leisure World victim (25 minutes later) had to come from the parking lot as there are no nesting areas beyond the parking lot. The only buildings in the parking lot at Leisure World, I believe, is a bank and a fast-food joint. Banks have security that would detect somebody on the roof and fast-food places are too busy to get on and off without being seen.
So I don't think this guy was a "sniper" per say, he had a mobile platform and took the shots when the opportunity presented itself.

"If he is a terrorist, how likely would it have been to shoot the Indian man. He could have appeared to be a ME Muslim????"
I've worked with quite a few people from India (Hindus)(sp?) Anyway, they said there is a sure way to tell them apart, and it's in how they tie their towels on their head. The difference being one wrap crosses in the front (forehead), and the other is just a circular motion around the head. For the life of me a cannot remember which was which though.

Didn't I read that the terrorist who worked in Katz' office was from this area in Maryland, also? The ties to the Socialist Republic of Portland seem very extensive.

"I am God" would be outrageous blasphemy to a Muslim."
This is correct. An observant Muslim (or even one who is somewhat less than observant) would NEVER say that.

King George... ?King George County is in Virginia, just south of where the Friday shooting took place.

If he is a terrorist, how likely would it have been to shoot the Indian man. He could have appeared to be a ME Muslim???? Probably not as unlikely as you might think. Do you think they knew there were probably muslims in the World Trade Towers? Did it matter?
Muslims fight and kill each other all the time. Look at India/Pakistan. The infighting in Afghanistan. The Iran/Iraq war, etc.

Chief Moose is on now, thanking the media?
