Report: Sniper Left Tarot Card, Message for Police at Last Shooting

WUSA-TV 9 News in Washington, D.C. reported in its 11 p.m. broadcast that police found a tarot card and a note to police at the scene of yesterday's sniper shooting of a 13 year old boy at Tasker Middle School in Bowie, Md.

The tarot card was the 'Death' card. The message said, 'Dear policemen, I am God."

This sniper will not leave a fingerprint, I'll bet the generation he is from KNOW to use gloves to load a round...and chances are he doesn't have prints on file...

Tis is a serious "game" with a very skilled murderer. This "kid" is enjoying playing cat and mouse with the cops MORE than shooting people. The real act he is enjoying is looking through the SCOPE and picking his victim...playing G-d...the power he is enjoying is the LARGE eye and the DISTANCE he can see people, unsuspecting people...he is not too concerned with killing because he left 2 behind that weren't killed.

On another FR thread-same subject-someone showed on a map of the area that the assassin shot from a cemetery named "Gates of Heaven." The cemetery has a huge landscaped cross in the middle. He/she/it shot at the Michael's that day.

Gates of Heaven...I am G-d...wait and see he will re-visit the Gates of Heaven. Michael's archangel...

White male college age, parents/grandparents gave kid the varmit rifle...kid outfitted the rifle with a scope WORTH MORE than the gun. Parents are affluent...kid is supposed to be in college, may actually be attending classes...most likely lives for the first time on his own, possibly in a dormitory. The weekend lull was because he went to see his family over the weekend...

Watch the colleges...he may start shooting college students...college students have to on most occasions "walk" to classes across campuses...Maryland has many large campuses with great camoflauge (?sp) for a sniper...we will also "blend in" to a college environment...

Perhaps this "god" honors the Sabbath days of various religions and likes to take a long lunch hour to watch his favorite soap opera....

College student who planned/was required to visit parents over the weekend? May have gone "home" to unsuspecting parents, got more ammo...reloaded shells??? Had the comfort of parents and no "spies" to continue his planning.

Yes I had suggested that he was using "symbols" the "Gates of Heaven WHICH was close to TWO shooting incidents on TWO different days...he also has been shooting at Michaels, St Michaels, the arch angel...all of the symbolism is VERY important to a serial killer...it is refered to as "calling cards" there is saddly a METHOD of genius to the the madness...it appears in in horrendous serial cases over the years...crazy people are "driven" whether by voices or by a "perverted reasoning"...he is a young male, who has entered the first stages of schizophrenia...the disease manifests in the early 20's generally when kids go off to college...where parenst DON'T see the mental decline.

Crazy people are NOT stupid people...my money is on a college student...recived years ago a "varmit rifle" he has had some shooting with it over the years...my bet he has a SCOPE on the gun worth MORE then the rifle itself.

He is MORE interested in the cat and mouse gane with the police than ACTUALLY shooting people...

The "Death" card, in the major Arcana, of the Tarot deck, doesn't mean " death " at all. Ergo, whomever left the card, with the "I AM GOD" message, doesn't know the meaning of the card, isn't familiar with Tarot decks, and this may be a total red herring.

Some nut case who knows as much about occultism as Al Gore knows about the Internet (i.e. that it's this Rilly Kewl Stuff) would pick the "Death" card as the obvious cognate to his intent to cause, well, death.

It's interesting that one of the victims is the son of a retired Montgomery County police officer. Didn't the shootings begin at a police station?

Either he's an extremely good actor, or the information is true and the cops did not want it out.

I heard that press conference. While he is a very poor speaker (sounds like a robot), he did sound seriously pissed off at Channel 9 and the Washington Post.

Another shooting this AM at a motel, The Cadillac Motel, in Prince George's county, but police are unsure if it's related, guy was shot inside a room, might be domestic..victim still alive..

.223 is common as dirt and not likely to be in any shape for actually "matching" - might be able to identify type of rifle (groove dimensions, twist, etc.).
If they have a case they could determine auto or bolt action.
But;
Don't think we're going to see any CSI kind of magic matching of bullets to same weapon although they MIGHT get lucky and pin it to a fairly low production piece.
Again, "fairly" is a relative term.
