None that I'm aware of in this country, though changing your name for fraudulent purposes is illegal.

In European countries there is a tradition of only registering approved names. France, for example, only allowed saints' names to be used. They must be making some accomodation for all the Muslims living there now. But they still wouldn't allow a kid to be named 'Moon Unit' or 'Dweezil.'

Grace Slick named her first child, god, small G. I think years later though, the girl changed it to something else. It was weird too if I recall. There is no law against naming a baby that......yet anyway. They would probably prefer that instead of god, you just named the baby Hillary in Florida.
