I can't help but wonder what tommorow will bring.

I wonder why the shooter has slowed to one victim per day.

I heard (CNN Radio News)that a federal prosecuter was taking over. Taking over the investigation I would presume, but all the investigative resources belong to the county and state. It will be interesting to see how this investigation takes shape. Will Moose cooperate?

Depends. A few years ago, when Charles Moose was police chief of Portland, Oregon, a white man in a vehicle stopped at a traffic light late at night was shot to death by black gang members. Probably an initiation, kill a white man and you're a member of the gang.

Moose refused to call it a hate crime. Considering the fact it was a black on white crime, his decision was not a popular choice with the majority living inside the Tri County area. The perps were never arrested.

Will he let the Feds have it? My guess is that if it looks as though it is terrorist related - attacks at malls and schools have been mentioned in past missives from Al Qaeda - then he would let it go.

But if the perp is a white guy, no.

I think tomorrow may bring another shooting. And here's why: Talking about this with my husband, I mentioned that it seems odd there are the time lags between shootings, so it seems the shooter has self-control. And there were no shootings over the weekend. Then my husband got a kind of lightbulb-over-the-head look and said that the person is someone who has been fired from his job, but his wife/kids don't know! So to keep the secret, he had to do the Little League/barbeque thing on the weekend and restrain his little hobby.

It makes the sense! He's been fired and he hates everyone going about their daily routine at rush hour. HE wants that routine and resents everyone who has it and takes it for granted.
