Dear "Dave S",

1. The existing vaccine was used for 50+ years in children. They have PLENTY of data and there's plenty of stockpile.

2. It would not take 2 years to immunize our nation, if the lunkheads at AAP would get out of the frigging way!

3. The only reason we are concerned about smallpox now is that Clinton FAILED our nation and forgot to get this vaccine ordered. Nice job RATS! It's like having a ballistic missile defense and forgetting the keys when you need the weapon.

I remember EVERYONE getting the vaccine. Our immigrant grandmothers thought it was a true miracle.

I cannot remember one side effect. Not even whispers of side effects. Not even Spock disregarded vaccinations. I have read the WHO and CDC sites and I recognize what they are saying about side effects and I am aware of the fact that then we did not have as many immune compromised individuals and we didn't have, IIRC, the rates of eczema I read are alleged. Can you elaborate on the side effect issue?

What about the 20,000 or so deaths or severe reactions that will occur if mass vacination is done. You seem awfully wiling to accept those deaths when Smallpox may never be used against us.
