Evidence Links Monday's Shooting to Spree

this guy has got his act together in his operation with the possible loss of the shaell casing.

This is what bothers me.
Why use the same gun that the shooter knows is linking him to the shootings?
Does he want to be know as "the shooter" because he has a statement to make, or evil pride or does he want to get caught?

I'll be darned: Political correctness keeping panic at bay--but then weak cooperation from the public because they don't know what specifically to look for. I was thinking much the same thing. This whole thing is so odd, precisely for what is NOT being said. The silence is defeaning.

Those live TV interviews with local,not-too-savvy police chiefs are good, though. They occasionally let something slip. Like the police spokesman (chief?) today who said, paraphrase: "And we have had cooperation from different federal agencies up here. I'm not going to say which agencies". Now what was THAT supposed to mean?

My daughter and her family live in Alexandria. She called me this morning; she's worried too. She's wishing her husband could get transferred out of the area. Bad enough that he's stationed at the Pentagon and was there on 09/11/01. She has a 10 year-old, an 8 year-old, and a 4-month old.

I know this has already been fully discussed, so this thought is directed to no one and anyone:

This guy or guys are not in a white box truck. They are doing the deed, then hiding in plain sight as they casually slip away. They are in a phone company truck, or a cable guy truck, or in a family-type minivan, something like that.

My money is on the minivan. What could be less conspicous than that at a mall parking lot or a school? They are a dime a dozen in all of these shooting venues.

And I have said it before and I will say it again: We are f*cked if this is more than one perp acting together.

The authorities can handle a right-wing nut. But, the second anyone even hints that there is a terrorist sniper on the loose, the situation markedly escalates. This region would shut down until the sniper was either in custody or dead.

Spree Killer - A spree killer is like a serial killer at warp speed(without the sex motive) or a mass killer at a snails pace. There haven't been too many spree killers and people haven't usually heard of them. A spree killer is usually a white male 20-30 who acts like a mass killer, killing alot of people by shooting, and this murdering usually happens over a period of time from a week/s to a month, with the killer fleeing the police and public fear at the same time. Spree killers usually flee with someone else and are like the typical mass killer but who intends to go uncaptured. Some cases of spree killers are Charles Starkweather or Andrew Cunanan. They are alike to mass killers in ways of victims and methods but lifestyles may have the spree killer with a criminal record and a partner.

You are correct regarding the need to have a pancreas. However, if you read the report carefully, it implies that a portion of the pancreas was removed. If a portion is removed, you can essentially do a partial pancreatectomy similar to the intervention in pancreatic cancers. By identifying the portion traumatized and cauterizing carefully, the skillful surgeon can leave most of the pancreas intact and unscathed.

The splenic injury was probably the most serious source of bleeding since a significant portion of cardiac output gets diverted to the major organs. The spleen is a surveillance system for the body and plays a role in fighting encapsulated organisms. Children who have sickle cell anemia can develop splenic infarctions, in which their spleen autodestructs. After a number of years, these patients become susceptible to infections by h. influenzae or s. pneumococcus. Either organism can create life threatening disease but also have vaccines.

Because your diaphragm (the muscle used to breathe) is a dome-like sheet of muscular tissue, it pulls down on the pleural space surrounding the lungs (to help you breathe). The problem is that a bullet to the left upper quadrant penetrates through the peritoneal space, where it can puncture intestines. I don't they reported this, so perhaps he was lucky on this aspect.

This tracks the bullet from the side. He was probably walking from the vehicle to the front of the school with the assailant on his left.

The trajectory suggests that it may have entered from the left side, through the rib cage, hitting the organs mentioned.

The surgeons have done their best.

We should all pray for this kid because now, it is a matter of how well his lungs can heel and if they were able to resuscitate him quickly enough to avoid CNS injury.

It would be difficult for there to be clear aim from his back because the vehicle would be in the way.

If you search the address, you can see that similar to some of the other venues, a long range of fire and cover of foilage exists. This nutcase is using the same MO...lots of foilage around his position and lots of road access to get out quickly and a major highway only seconds away (for escape).

Strange coincidences that really gnaw at me:

1. The single 223 found with in the Oregon guy's weapon cache.

2. The Oregon "brothers" (Bilel) were "raised in a large, strict Muslim household in Maryland.

3. The 'brothers' parents now live in Saudi Arabia.

4. The cell was noticed because of target practicing.

Did these snipers get "advance notice" of this cell being taken down??
