What the heck is your point anyways? You seem to be taking a lot offense at something that has the rest of us puzzled.
I have kids in the schools that have been locked down for the last two days and I don't recall one parent to whom I have spoken with making any connection with Jewish neighborhoods. Where are you going with all this?

It would appear that the shooter is killing people while they're coming and going to and from work, and are staying at home with their family on the weekend so that their presence won't be suspiciously missed.
When they shot the cabdriver, I knew they were imports. (I have, in fact, met that man in past years at the home of a mutual friend.)

The main conservative synagogue in Silver Spring "Beth Shalom" relocated to Potomac about four years ago and with it came two ultra conservative congregations just down the street on Seven Locks road. They are walking distance from my home. Silver Spring had fallen out of favor with the Hebrews over the last 15 years, here as Springbrook and Blair High Schools have slipped quite a bit academically

Now you are asking me for the motivations of AlQaida. For that you have to read quite a bit of FR stuff over the last year in a lot of threads from thousands of people.
However, we can put this all in a nutshell. To wit: the Islamofascists are also into Islamic mysticism, and I don't mean Sufism, but the sort that drove the Assassins. Within that framework of thought events that are not at all related can be construed (by the Islamofascists) to involve some sort of Jewish conspiracy, or a cabal of folks in league with rich and or important Jews who have as their aim the destruction of Islam.
As a consequence of this kind of thinking, every attack on America is ALSO directed at Jews, or at people associated with them in any role, e.g. as customers, students, teachers, etc.
These guys lay awake nights figuring out what they are going to do and how to also attack Jews, or how to concoct a story so that their terrorism can be blamed on "the Jews".
You can continue believing these guys are just plain and simple goat herders from Saudi if you wish, and the fact that you don't know any Jews who have made these connections does not mean there are not Jews who have so observed the situation in the same manner.
You know the murderer Kasi used to come down here to my neighborhood on Saturdays and work on brakes on taxicabs driven by Saudi Arabians. One day he stopped by the CIA and started firing on people with a rifle. His friends down here retrieved his car and repainted it on my street to hide it from the police.
Our Commonwealth's Attorney (Prosecutor in other places) continued to argue that Kasi was not a terrorist right up to 9/11.
The chief knee-jerk liberal nutcase in the area, a guy named Saslaw who keeps getting elected to the Virginia legislature, has argued that the problem was not Islamic terrorism but "guns in the hands of immigrants". His answer to everything was to pass a law prohibiting foreigners from owning guns.
I have had it right up to here (hand over bridge of nose) with people who refuse to see what is so obvious about the Moslem people who have chosen to be our enemy - that is that they are all mad-dog, blood-thirsty murderers of the worst sort. It is not possible to appeal to their reason, and they will not obey our laws.
Swell point, but the problem is that the attacks on 9-11 did not specifically target jews and neither do these. These attacks are on Americans and at the present moment, my hometown, my neighborhood, my co-workers, my friends, and my family.
My wife will be filling in for the grade school safety patrol down at the corner because Doug Duncan has asked the parents to help in that way. The rest of us will carry on with one eye on everyone else in hopes of catching these guys.

Then as the anthrax attacks came to light, the first one was found to have occurred in Boca Raton. AMI was targeted. It is immediately upwind of a college with a predominantly Jewish student body. (Took all of 2 minutes searching on the internet to find that one.)
The Islamofascists had undoubtedly had the "wafting" characteristics of weaponized anthrax explained to them, and could well have thought it would blow downwind and kill all those kids. Alas, we will never know since these guys all died in the planes!
There's more. It all fits within their worldview. Oh, yes, one more thing. In Islamic standards of evidence, the accusation is considered much more important than the facts. You will frequently notice that "those people" seem startled to discover that we hold to a much tighter standard, and do not automatically believe their lies as do their countrymen and co-religionists, nor are we as given to blaming the victim or innocent bystanders for our misfortune. In brief, the Islamofascists are constantly misestimating what we will do because, after all, we are not "them", nor are "they" us.
The vast majority of the jews I've known in my life are just downright great people and I really enjoy being with them. However there are some who just can't ever let you forget they are jewish and just always have to remind you of how awful the jews have been treated, how everyone is out to get them and the whole "us against the rest of you" gig. Not of the later groups of jews have ever asked me what my heritage is or why my ancesters came to america. You know why? Because they just don't care. Not at all, not in the least, not for one second, I am simply unimportant to them.
To prove my point, I just wrote that my wife is going to put herself in harms way to save a kid (very likely a jewish kid, seeing that they make up 30+% of the schools here) from having to be out in the open tomorrow morning, and you didn't even say thanks. Well you are welcome anyways, and yes I will continue to pray for Israel and cheer her on in her strugle against the forces of evil. Meanwhile try and get a grip and realise that we are in this together as americans.

No, Mu that is not all you did.
What you did is get upset at everyone who disagreed with your far fetched notion that these guys are out to get the jews. You even went so far as to insinuate that I was a lying about where I live and you also accussed me of racism when I made a point about the largest Jewish populations in Mont County living in Potomac, Bethesda and Chevy Chase.
But most of all Mu, what you did is prove that the only people you care about are other jews, the rest of us are anti-semites simply because in your view anyone that isn't jewish is anti-semite. Unfortunately those who got shot over the past few days are not jewish, but residents of America, which is the real target.
I forgot to mention this earlier, my mother in law was in the supermarket parking lot, over in White Oak the same night the first victim was killed. Not that you would care, seeing that she is not jewish.
So if you want to help out why don't you volunteer for crossing gaurd duty Friday. Just let me know what corner you're gonna be on and I'll be happy to take the other one
