Yes, illegal immigration was briefly alluded to by both, but cautiously. In Davis' case, he was spectacularly hypocritical, mouthing his "concern" about "inadequate patrolling of our borders." A swipe at Bush and direct contradiction of his support for Fox's desire to move all his economic detritus into California and other states.
