The only problem there is that the cost of getting caught is quite high. Not only do you get a fine, but the additional insurance costs will hurt you for a long time.

Not as bad as you think. It's kind of like paying a toll. I've only had one ticket since 1981 and that was in a rental car that had a speedometer that read low! STill my bad though.

BTW, I've been stopped twice in the last four months. One for recklessly entering the freeway and the other for 70+ on the freeway. In both cases the cops asked me to be more careful and let me continue on my way.

In case you're interested, the first cop was yelling at me when he got to my car, and I yelled back. Don't ask me why nobody cited me. In both cases the cops seemed like nice guys and we enjoyed talking.
