Lock up your firearms! The two states, NJ & NY, have some incredible scumbags in Schumer, Clinton, and Lautenberg.

I don't agree with you. The liberal left who want their candidate by hook or crook will be as you stated. But the majority will see one candidate who got screwed. Who is getting cheated. And that will resonate if they play it right. If they can't win with that... then he doesn't need to be a senator.

Only recourse left, beat Lautenberg at the polls. That's right. Try to let it slide. (Tfh on) There was no way the SC would take jurisdiction. No constitutional question involved. Can't deny voters right to vote.

Pandora's Box is officially open for business.Wait until Maryland decides to ban rifles as a clear and present danger, and the MDSC says fine and the USSC sits it out.

I know that. That doesn't mean they were GOOD appointments. They were appointed by a LIBERAL republican.

What this reinforces is that our Representative Republic is over, and the rule of law means nothing, which means we are now a Democracy and Mob Rule is the law of the day, which means we as a nation are not long for this earth. I'm pretty close to believing that we're really not even a Democracy any more. We're becoming a full-fledged Banana Republic, and corrupt judges and lawyers are our untouchable tyrannical overlords.

Right - looks like they set a trap for Bush and he walked into it.
Now they will play the "union hater" card.
Can't believe the major networks are not going to air his speech tonight. We listen to every ex-official, every flake, every military person on what to do about Iraq - yet the President of the United States on this issue will not be aired.
I have written Fox about this.

Disgusting.
What irks me about this is the brazen attitude the Dems had about all of this. They had the deck stacked, and all the pounding of the Court over Bush v. Gore worked. They scared at least one and probably TWO justices from stepping to the plate again.
So, if I run a company, can I now run a bait-and-switch get away with it?

Hey Dog..
I dunno if it's worth bothering to 'vote' in rat controlled districts anymore, they won't count it.
Forrestor is not going to win, by hook or by crook, so have declared the legion of rats up there.

SCORECARD:
1 - Number of votes Daschle needed to become king of the Senate. Jeffords cast that "vote".
162,884 - Number of votes Daschle received in his last election.
ZERO - The number of votes Lautenberg received in the primaries.
Not a lot of people involved in making Daschle so powerful. And Daschle basically "elected" Lautenberg.
It all comes down to voters. That's the only constant. Lautenberg needs to be beat on the street. Same thing with Daschle.

It will be a victory if Forrester wins, although it is a greater uphill battle now. Not just because he is no longer facing Torricelli, but because legally, it has been upheld, the democrats did nothing wrong. He has lost the moral high ground because of this ruling.

There ya go. Lets get fired up about this, we got screwed! Make'em pay at the ballot box. Also, just a little food for thought. The independent counsel did not go away until it went againts the dems. How about a bait and switch in a state like Montana, or Louisianna? Maybe Bush could bend Raciot ear a little, and Gov Foster for that matter.

EVERYBODY WINS!! This is a victory for State's Rights, you know. So now it's legal for Conservative states to play this game, too. Now "everybody will be doing it."
States that are boarderline can have Conservative courts to swing for them, without repercussion. Just point to "The NJ ethics."
To: Howlin
i forget, what is the supreme court for? if the law doesn't matter, then we don't need them
To: kjam22
Time will tell won't it?? You have a lot more faith in sheeple democrats then I do.
To: Howlin
It too a century and a half for leftists to turn our great republic into a democracy, and approximately half that time for democracy to self-destruct.
