Now you're taxing my memory. I heard it on one of those news shows months ago. I thought it was federal, but I'll stand corrected if someone has the inside scoop.

Bullet "proof" vests are not prohibited in any state that *I* am aware of, although there may be exceptions.

There has been some talk recently from the anti-gunners about banning convicted felons from owning them, or maybe it was about enhancing penalties if one is used in a crime, or something like that.

But seriously, buy one now while they are still legal.
