Mornin' Dave!
I have never been to Pinecrest that I can recall anyway! Thanks for the picture. I have been to Yosemite a zillion times, and the tribute says it is above it. Is it up the pass or where? Looks beautiful, and what a wonderful place to go to rest.

Mornin' LIR. Pinecrest is actually up highway 108 near Dodge Ridge ski area. It is just northwest of Yosemite National Park and is located in the Stanislaus National Forest Area.
