Maybe THAT'S why the second shot was taken...the kid saw the guy and it startled the shooter and he took the "two" shots.
The other shots were in the back I believe.
Did the kid turn around JUST BEFORE the shooter was ready to finalize his target and he was forced to pick off the kid??

They are now reporting on channel 9 news that it was ONE shot, not two.
Oh god that's horrible! This is making me so sick and angry! The poor innocent kid! I pray this kid pulls thru and they post a 24 hour guard around him.
