Don't know if it is posted but today's body shots are suggesting that with all the heat, the sniper is keeping more distance.

It looks that way; after the shooting in Fredericksburg, in which the victim survived, the first stories said LE didn't think it was the same weapon -- they were wrong. The weapon didn't change, but something else did.

The weapon didn't change...they switched shooters.

And just because a weapon DOES change, it doesn't mean a thing in this scenario.

I'm still not discounting the fisherman that was shot either as I assume he was in an obscure area (and they might have come upon him). This is a no witness operation.
