Does anyone else think that if this is terror it's supposed to hit home with those in washington?

Being someone who works about 4 miles from the Bowie school and 5 miles from most of those sites in Silver SPring/Kensington, I'd say it definitely smells like a terror campaign to me.. The are a lot of crazy Mid Eastern types in this area. Laurel had a cell of them involved in the WTC event, and I'd bet a dollar a dozen that one of them are involved now. Well, I'm off on lunch break, wish me luck.

If at all humanly possible I would never wait for the police to arrive. First they come to see if you really need an ambulance then the ambulance is dispatched....wasting more time.......the mom did the right thing.

I'm not sure where you get your information, but that isn't true in any municpality I've been in. You call 9-11 to say someone's been shot, and you get cops, ambulances, fire engines - if anything, they tend to overreact in these situations. In this situation, the mother may have done the right thing, but as a rule of thumb, its generally better to wait three or four minutes for an ambulance.
