Just finished reading Steven Emerson's excellent book American Jihad and he mentioned that incident and called it terrorism. He also had several incidents of terrorism committed in this country that were not deemed that at the time. Mostly incidents of Israeli leaders shot in NYC by Muslims. Also a schoolbus filled with Israeli children in NYC.

Shootings started last week, OBL tape released this weekend, as you said, but it was in the tape released that "youths of God" were mentioned. A previous Freeper may be on to some code words contained in that tape. If Freeper is correct, what happened to the policy that we wouldn't release actual words contained in videos or tapes in the event there WERE code words? That was a good policy and should be adhered to.

Yes, I have. Prince Georges County has an excellent EMS system, as does the surrounding DC suburbs. This did not occur in DC and would therefore not warrant a DC response. This injury involved major chest and abdomen trauma, which is not amenable to treatment by lay people. It is also directly associated with the need for immediate volume replacement and respiratory spport, which can only be delivered by trained providers with the proper equipment. I was not challenging you to a duel; I was merely commenting that it would have been beneficial to that poor 13-year-old child to be stabilized and transported to a Level III trauma center within "The Golden Hour," which is so important in trauma cases.
