You would have had a claim of responsibility by now. Oh yea? How long did it take for OBL and company to claim responsibility for 9-11?

Firing ranges, auto rental places, State Parks (They may be living out of a van.)

U.S. Attorney is chief of the federal prosecutors in a district. The whole of Maryland is one federal district. DiBiaggio is U.S. Attorney for the district of Maryland.

From what I gather, the sniper(s) are shooting from a considerable distance from their targets, so it's probably best to scope out the periphery of the area you are in rather than close up.

I should have clarified. My point was that I don't think the shooter necessarily is shooting from a vehicle. He/they may have a vehicle nearby, but are shooting from outside it. JMO

Well then the case is never going to be solved, just like the anthrax attacks.

What are they gonna do when people are shot inside a mall? or suicide bombings begin and the government plays them off as explosions from the inner portion of some maintenance thing.
To: Dog
Could mean a lot more police resources will be available.

"Could mean a lot more police resources will be available."
Well it's about time. I was under the impression all those resources were offered the first day.
To: aristeides
Local and State police never give up a case to the FEDS.....something has changed here.

Maybe the feds told them to do this.
To: Dog
Yeah, they realized it was a "terror attack".

did the Feds take this over? The official story is that the feds are only offering assistance, and that the state and local authorities remain in charge of the investigation. But in substance, yes, I think they did take it over.
To: Peach
Chief asked them for "help"..
