It's the 'blame Jews first' tactic. And these people believe the US is controlled by Zionists, the UN is Zionist controlled, the EU is Zionist controlled, 9/11 was masterminded by the 'Zionists'.

It's normal to blame anything on them. It's easy to have a scapegoat to divert the attention to questions like: "Why are we living like 1400 years ago? Why are we so poor?"

I think they only say Zionist in the western press. It's "the dirty jews" everywhere else. Hell, that's probably what they say to the west too but it gets translated as "Zionist" How 'bout Falwell announcing that there are over 70 million non-jewish Zionists in the U.S. That's what they need to be worried about.
