Yes, the other thing I noticed is that the talk show host turns down the caller's volume so that the host can shout unopposed at the call. I've heard this on Drudge's program and other ones also.

Just checked KRLA 870, no Ray Breim. Not even listed on the personalities page.

One of my faves, and a great alternative to the babbling Drudge and his show biz stuff.

Stinking Michael Jackson is now on 570 AM in L.A., I think in the morning.

By far, the worst of them all (believe it or not, even worse that Bernie Ward) is Ray Taliafaro of KGO in San Francisco. He is filled with vile hatred of anything Republican. He is absolutely a black racist, in my opinion.

Whoops, I pulled a Streisand. It is spelled "Taliaferro." Here is his website -- CLICK AND VOMIT. Ray is a Bush-hating maniac. If you listen to him at 1:00 AM in San Francisco, I guarantee it will take only about 2 minutes to want to smash your radio.

Doug: Any news on what happened to Ray Briem? I think I'm about due for a Larry Nichols fix.

Sorry, I don't know what happened to Ray. He had a weekend show for awhile.

Maybe we should call him occasionally. It must be soooo lonely for him at 1 AM... what a lousy timeslot! Even in the worlds most liberal US city, that guy finds that he is at 1 AM? HA HA HA. So much for drive time!

Checked in on Michael Jackson the other day. He was gaggling on about Simon's photo mixup and then the next day he had an environmentalist. The environmentalist was discussing the risk of chemicals and poisons causing cancer in children, pointing to the loss of her child to Wilm's Tumor. I paused and listened for a few minutes.

However, someone needed to tell Mr. Jackson that the next time he tries to discuss childhood cancers...well... he should actually have pediatric trained physicians on the radio. The information he offered was plain wrong!

While the environmentalist and Erin Brokovich were stating that Wilms Tumor had no known genetic causes (and thus could be blamed on environmental pollutants), the reality is that recent evidence is now elicidating the genetics of Wilms Tumor. It is well known to all pediatric trained physicians that Wilms Tumor can be be an isolated finding, but also can be part of syndromes thought to be genetically caused. At any rate, the discussion lacked scientific veracity.

I suppose they would also assert the validity of other dubious assertions of the liberal left.
