Toronto lights Explosions
Posted on 10/04/2002 8:34:03 PM PDT by Lucas1
At 11:20 p.m. bright flashes of blue and green light covered the eastern sky. Looking out the window it looked like a huge explosion of some sort with the sky lit up for about 30 seconds...with continuous flashes of blue and green light. Not sure what it is that I am seeing....after about 10 minutes there was another flash for about 10 seconds of blue and green light.

Lake Erie just caught fire. Not to nitpick, but the lake to the east of Toronto is Lake Ontario.

Old type II hyperspace drives will do that if you open the window too close to a planetary atmosphere. Either that or it was a chupacabra with really bad gas.

Chances are that what you are seeing is the result of pole-mounted transformers exploding. You mentioned winds and rain - we had a storm here a few years back that caused a lot of electrical outages from the transformers blowing - beautiful blues and greens that lit up the whole sky for a long time. Sounds the same.

THE LEAFS HAVE WON THE STANLEY CUP! Oh, sorry -- not in our lifetimes. Heh-heh.

Too bad there are no explosions in Ottawa. Canadians need to start a coup against Jean Chretien, and his terrorist regime.

LOL. Just a general apology to all those long-suffering Maple Leafs fans out there.
